The Nextronic DNS-CVA series provides a fully

integrated Voice Alarm system solution, and is

specifically designed to comply with the life safety evacuation requirements of BS 5839 pt 8.

The centralized system is housed in a 19'' racking

cabinet and comprises of a number of DNS-CVA

modules and a power supply. The DNS-CVA module provides all the audio control, monitoring and dual circuit amplification for a single Fire Zone. The power supply provides the main DC, battery backup and charging for the system. Cabinet construction is specific to each

project, but generally comprises of a 37U floor standing rack with a lockable glazed door, and wired in flexible conduit.

The system arrangement is of very high integrity since each Fire Zone essentially has it's own VA system. A

serial data link between modules, enables global

control, and ensures synchronization between modules.

The configuration allows full multi-path audio, for phased evacuation. Any audio source, such as microphones, messages or background music, may be broadcast simultaneously to any combination of zones.
